11 bulls from the Eversleigh Stud and 3 bulls from Wallace Vale were sold through the ring at the Diamantina Droughtmaster Bull & Female Sale held in Winton on Friday 20 May.
We had a 100% clearance to average $4571 for our 14 bulls. Top of our draft was Eversleigh Dropper who sold for $9000 to Edwin and Eddie Maxwell of Crown-M Stud Nelia. Lot 2 of the sale, the polled 26 month old son of Clonlara 06101 weighed in at 808kg and had scan figures of P8- 11, Rib – 7 and an EMA of 131 sq cm – the best EMA of the sale.
Top priced Wallace Vale bull was Wallace Vale Assassin (P) D5 who sold to Angus and Donna Deane “Malboona” Corfield for $7000. By Eddington Chief, the young 25 month old bull weighed 788kg and had figures of 12, 10 and 124.
