DROUGHTMASTER NATIONAL FEMALE SALE

This time last year (when it was considerably greener) we bought Nindethana Hallee from the Droughtmaster National Female Sale.  As we were unable to attend the sale in person, we bid on her over the phone while in the middle of mustering cattle.  It had to be carefully timed so that Roger was on one of the highest spots on Pine Hills so that he could get reception.  We were successful in buying Hallee for $5000.  This little section of our property has now been nicknamed “Bidding Hill”.

Hallee was PTIC to RSVP Jackpot.  She dutifully delivered right on cue during October and we named her bull calf, Malachi, after Hallee’s sire, Bryvonlea Malachi.  12 months on, the pair are doing well, and Hallee has been rejoined to Alma Royal.

This Saturday, for the first time, we become vendors at the National Female Sale, when we present two of our own unjoined heifers, Lara and Limelight.

Remember: you don’t have to be at the sale to bid!
