The 21st annual Roma Droughtmasters Tropical Sale was held in Roma SW Qld on Friday 20 October. In total we presented 10 bulls – 5 from each stud.
Top price bull of our draft and for the sale was Lot 59 Eversleigh Juggernaut sold to Michael and Tracey Flynn Valera Vale Droughtmaster Stud for $30,000.
The bulls were prepared in the paddock and on a grain ration developed for us by Top Country in Roma. Vaccinations = 5 in 1, 3-day and tick fever. They were all tested pestivirus negative. Semen testing and vet checks were carried out by Adam Wise on 1 September. Fat scanning was done by David Reid at the Roma Saleyards on Thursday 19 October.
